Reflection

​This half term in Science we have been learning about light. This week we have been learning all about mirrors and how they work. We learnt how a mirror has to be a shiny, flat surfaces and that light reflects in a straight line from the mirror.
I set the children a science challenge! They had a torch and 2 mirrors. They had to try and get the light from the torch under and over the table only using what they had been given.
The children found it really fun and interesting! Here are some pictures of the children experimenting with the torch and the mirrors.
We then gathered together and I showed the children how it worked. The children all found it fascinating!
