GEOGRAPHY CURRICULUM
Our intention is that teaching and learning within Geography is designed to develop children’s curiosity and fascination about the world and its people. Throughout their time at Kexborough Primary School, the children will investigate a range of places – both in Britain and abroad – to help develop their knowledge and understanding of the Earth’s physical and human processes. We are committed to providing children with opportunities to investigate and make enquiries about both their local area and beyond, so they can develop an awareness of the natural and human impact on our planet. The children will also have the opportunity to apply geographical skills to enable them to confidently communicate their findings and subject knowledge in a range of contexts.
