Last week, we children completed their final stop frame animation using imotion and imovie. For this, the children chose their background and their characters and stuck them to the wall. This was to ensure that their background didn't move whilst they made their animation. Then, the children placed their iPad on a stand and moved it to ensure that they could see the background on their screen. The children had to try their best not to move their iPad so it didn't spoil their animation. After they had positioned everything, the children used the onion skin feature on the imotion to move the characters slightly to capture their image. The onion skin helped them to see where the character had been before so they didn't overlap their frames or they didn't move the characters too far. Once they had finished, the children added music and text to their animation using the imovie app to make it more entertaining. Have a look below to see the children making their final animations. In science, we have been learning about the human body. Last week, we looked at the different bones in our body and their scientific names. For their task, they had to use post it notes to label the bones on their partners body to help them remember where they are. The children were really enthusiastic to do this and were very keen to see if they labelled all the bones correctly. Have a look below to see them in action. |
