RE Learning

In RE this term, we are looking at recognising the qualities of inspirational leadership and to contemplate some unanswerable questions.

Today we focused on Abraham, who was the founder of Judaism and was the first to make a convenant to God. We learnt that ​Abraham was the first person to teach the idea that there was only one God; before then, people believed in many gods. Abraham is a significant character in other religions - not only Christianity but Islam too. Muslims know Abraham as Ibrahim, and regard his as an important prophet of their faith. 

We watched a short video clip of God's promise to Abraham, God's Promise for Abraham | Stories of the Bible (youtube.com) then completed a comic strip of our own interpretation of the story!
