This afternoon, the Year 5 children completed their design and technology unit by creating one final (and very popular!) bread product- pizza! The pupils had to make and prove their own dough, roll it out in to shape and then create their own pizzas by adding a selection of their favourite topics! It is safe to say the pizza was thoroughly enjoyed by all. 

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles, Year 5 got involved in a very British activity of baking their own scones! The pupils worked in groups to follow a recipe, weigh out their ingredients and work together before baking their scones in the oven. We enjoyed them afterwards with lots of jam and butter!
