This week, Year 5 have been involved in level 2 bikeability training.
This has involved learning the correct way to turn right and left, U turns, correctly reading traffic and understanding the rules of the road. All the children involved have had an amazing few days! Today was Enterprise Day! We had to use our imaginations to design a safe space for all children aged 2 and above. In our teams, we had to choose items from a sensory shack using 100 care coins then create a poster and a mascot to show off our design. No idea was too crazy or adventurous! We all worked so well together across Year 5 and Year 6 and came up with some amazing ideas. Each team then presented their ideas to our 3 judges, Mrs Richardson, Mrs Kane and Mr Rudkin. We couldn’t only pick two (because they were all so amazing) but chose three winners to take through to the final event in June at the Metrodome. We can’t wait for June for the 3 winning team to present their ideas to the judges!
