Year 5 went on a fantastic trip today to the National Space Centre in Leicester. The trip linked closely with our recent history and geography topic 'Exploration' and our new science topic 'Earth and Space'. The children had a fantastic day learning about the Sun, Earth and Moon and participating in various workshops and galleries. Our visit was then finished off with an amazing experience in the planetarium where we all felt like real astronauts! It goes without saying that all of the children in Year 5 demonstrated impeccable behaviour throughout the day and represented our school in the best possible way!
