Our new writing focus- Nocturnal animals

Happy new year, we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

This half term our writing will focus around animals, in particular nocturnal animals. In class we will be reading the book, 'The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark' as a hook for our writing. To begin the half term, we will be writing a non chronological report all about nocturnal animals. To introduce our new unit, we have introduced two friends to our class so the children could carefully look and compare. Meet our owls!
