Reading- World Book Day

Today, Kexborough celebrated world book day and what a fabulous day we had in year 2! Our book focus today was 'Superworm' by Julia Donaldson. We began by creating our own wanted posters to help find him and then wrote our own reply to the posters. We read lots of stories and discussed our favourite books. We even saw a whole school parade where we admired all the amazing costumes in school.  The children made such a great effort and looked amazing. Here are some pictures!
