Maasai Jewellry

Year 2 have been learning all about Kenya in our 'Super Safari' topic. We found out that the Maasai Tribe still live in the Maasai Mara in Kenya. They wear traditional jewellery and especially like to wear large necklaces using lots of beads to make different patterns. Traditionally, the more beads that make the necklace, the richer the wearer looks.
We had great fun creating and wearing our own Maasai necklaces.
