In Science we have been learning all about how plants grow. We planted our own cress seeds and have nurtured them until they were ready for us to take home and enjoy in a sandwich!

On Wednesday 12th June the whole school had a Den Building Day!
Year 2 had a fabulous time building our dens and finding out whether they were water-tight. We learnt to work together as a team and to communicate well with our friends.
After the session there were a few very soggy children! We hope we get to do it all again next year.

Year 2 have just completed their Design Technology unit on making puppets. During this unit they have learnt to sew using running stitch.
We hope you'll agree that these puppets that they designed and then made themselves are absolutely fabulous.
