The Queen

This week we have changed our learning so that we can understand more about the significant event happening in our country at the moment. We have been discussing what The Queen did, what she looked like, where she lived and what will happen now - a new king. The children have had opportunities in their play to make castles and palaces and paint portraits of The Queen. In doing so they have learnt how to stack and balance blocks safely to make structures and how to mix powders to make different colours.
