I just want to say a massive thank-you to you and your wonderful children for a fantastic year. We have worked hard and played hard and laughed and sometimes cried and it's been an absolute joy. I write my final blog of the year feeling tired, teary and emotional thinking about how all the children have 'grown' and developed this year and it makes me feel immensely proud as I know you are too. Here's some sun filled photos from our final week. This week we have read a story about a puffin called Peter who loses his best friend Paul in a storm. A whale helps Peter find his friend again. We have been drawing comparisons between this story and 'The Snail and the Whale' and 'Monkey Puzzle.' Today, some children wrote thank-you messages to the whale for being a kind friend.
