McDonalds, Moses and Maths

We have had an eclectic week here in Bear Cubs! We have been learning about the story of Moses and how he parted the Red Sea. We were thinking that the people following him must have felt really scared walking through the middle of the sea! We talked about the story as we chose materials for our class collage.
In Maths, we have been learning about tens. We played a game where we had to roll a dice and count buttons onto ten frames to fill them. We filled five frames - that's fifty buttons!
In provision, some children spent all day building a McDonalds drive through. Their menu seemed good value but the only problem was they kept getting the order wrong and delivered vanilla shakes instead of chocolate!
