We have been reading the story 'The tiger who came to tea' which has got us thinking about tigers. Some children have been making tiger masks to scare their friends. We have also been learning about an artist called Steven Brown who paints animals in multicolours so we have been painting in a similar technique. Imagine a tiger coming to tea looking like these!!!

This week some Year 6 children came to class to read to the children.

Our key stories have both involved poorly cats going to the vets so we have set up a vets role play in class. We have been learning some key vocabulary, such as, patient, infection, injection, wound, treatment, bandage, temperature. Watch this space for a new Yorkshire Vet on the telly!

This week we have been focusing on some ball skills outside, following on from practise in Friday's Kidnectics. We have been learning how to bounce the ball between partners and by ourselves whilst having a lot of fun at the same time!
