Getting healthy

We have been reading 'Farmer Duck' - the story of a lazy farmer who stays in bed all day shouting orders to his weary duck. We have looked at the illustration of the farmer eating chocolates in bed and discussed how he needs to eat healthier food then he might have more energy to help the duck!

The children really enjoyed choosing healthy food to stock the farmer's fridge (whilst practising their cutting and sticking skills). The cake did look good but healthy choices were made!
