Today, the children have worked incredibly hard to complete their mechanimal 3D pictures. They look AMAZING!!! We have clockwork foxes, hares and crows - the detail on them is phenomenal!  What do you think?

Year 6 are reading a novel called Cogheart. In this story, there are mechanical characters - some of which are animals. The children have been tasked with making a 3D mechanimal painting that features cogs and mechanisms made from cardboard, buttons, string and wooden sticks. Here the children are, painting their background board on which they will mount their completed mechanimal. More photos to follow.

 The Year 6 children have worked in group to design and create their own game. They were given a vague outline to follow. I asked them to ensure that their game required them to demonstrate the following skills: team work, creativity and communication. I am absolutely stunned at how their games have turned out. I had no idea that I had such an inventive and creative class.
