Year 6 had so much fun this afternoon and absolutely loved having the water fight. They got totally soaked but enjoyed every moment.

Within Design and Technology lessons, the Year 6 children have made their own burgers. To do this, they firstly made the bread rolls using: bread flour, yeast, butter, salt, sugar and water. After kneading and proving the dough, they shaped them into rolls and baked them to make delicious fresh bread. The KS2 corridor smelled amazing! Once the rolls were made, they also made their own burger patties from scratch using minced beef steak, breadcrumbs and seasonings. They enjoyed building their burgers by adding salad and sauces - their favourite part was eating it. They did so well to make all elements of a burger in just one day!
