I have only just noticed that I have not included the final masterpieces for all of our hard work in Art last half term. Below, I have added photographs that show the makings of the masterpiece and the final outcomes. The children worked really hard and it took over our last few weeks of learning. We even had to finish it on the last day of the term! If we were to do this again, we would have made our base colour lighter that way we could see the intricate details more clearly.  

We have started our new block of DT which is looking at sewing. This is a progression from last year. We are going to continue learning the running stitch and back stitch but will also be looking at the whip stitch. The children seem to be enjoying it so far even if it is a challenge to thread and knot the needles and thread.
