Odd and Even Numbers

Last week, we begun looking at odd and even numbers. We first looked at what made an odd and even number and then using numicon we split the numbers into odd and even numbers. Whilst doing this, we recognised the differences between odd and even numbers and that there is a pattern of odd, even, odd then even when sorting numbers into the right group. We also looked at numbers beyond ten and realised that if 2 was an even number, 12 would be too. This helped us to identify whether larger numbers were odd or even.
