All week we have been hoping to get a visit from the Easter Bunny. We made Easter baskets, drew pictures and even wrote letters to the Easter Bunny. We started to get worried on Friday when he still hadn't arrived so we came up with a plan! We put our baskets out on the tables closed all the blinds and snuck outside, hoping he would visit while the room was quite. 
We came back inside to find he'd been! and left us lots of chocolate in our baskets! 

This half term in art we have been working on collage. Today we created our end goal after weeks of practicing skills. We used everything we had learnt and lots of materials to create a beautiful lighthouse picture. 

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY! 
Everyone in year one looked fabulous in their costumes today!
We spent the day doing activities around the story The Day the Crayons Quit. We started off by watching all of the teachers in the hall act out the book. 
In class we picked our own colour and wrote a letter to ourselves from the colour. We also used our 1 colour to create some art work. 

We practice counting in 2's every day. Just listen how amazing we are!
