Yesterday, year 1 went on their very first school trip to Wigfield Farm. As part of the trip, we looked around the farm identifying a range of animals and looking at whether each animal was a mammal, bird, fish, amphibian or reptile and whether each animal was an omnivore, herbivore and carnivore. During our visit to Wigfield, we were very lucky to have a change to stroke, feed and hold a range of animals. All the children were very excited to do this and they all had a lovely time. Lindsey our guide for the day, mentioned how brilliant all the children had been during their visit and I am so proud of all the children with how they behaved whilst at the farm. We took plenty of photos during our trip so have a look below to see how much fun we had.
