Number Day

Today has been number day, to mark the occasion the children completed a carousel of maths activities. 

The activities were:

• Making models using 3D shapes
• Pattern marking using peg boards and cubes 
• Number games that involved addition, subtraction and counting. 
• Colouring that included recognising numbers
• Making pictures using tangram shapes. 

The children were all very focused throughout and they were excited to try all the activities. Afterwards, we played a couple of games of bingo which the children enjoyed. Overall, today has been extremely enjoyable, Well done year 1!
