Tea for two anyone?

This week we have continued our learning about the story 'The Tiger Who came to Tea.' We have learnt how to make a cup of tea and use good manners to serve it to our friends. We learned that a teapot has a spout, a handle and a lid so you can pour hot water in and it stays hot. We used a teacup and saucer to drink our tea and even dunked a biscuit in! However, we learnt that the biscuit turns soggy when it's wet.
​We have also been practising our independent writing to write invitations and take orders in our tearoom. 

Elsewhere in provision children have been extremely creative - making, singing, building - showing us their interests and skills.
