Journalistic Writing!

In our writing this week, we have started looking at journalistic writing.  We have linked our writing to our previous class novel 'Kensuke's Kingdom'  

We have spent some time at the beginning of this week, looking at the features of journalistic writing as well as understanding how to add extra information to our sentences using relative clauses and parenthesis.  
We then started writing our modelled piece of journalistic writing about the disappearance of Michael and the boat (The Peggy Sue) in the story.
Next week we will be writing our independent writing about the plane crash in the story 'The Explorer'.
