Our Year 4 digital leaders for 2024-2025 are Nathan and Daphne. Well done to these two children. The children completed a class vote for this and we were able to see democracy work first hand which is something that we have been learning about when looking at Ancient Greece in our History topic.

Year 4 enjoy working with manipulatives. We have used place value disks for our learning about place value and we have looked at dienes with our work on column addition and subtraction. We also like to link this to Brainingcamp and we find the visual representation that matches our hands on learning.  

Today, we were joined by 4 more friends from K2. Again, they were a fantastic addition to our lesson. Their behaviour was exemplary and they were a credit. We showed them what we had been learning including dribbling, passing and shooting and everybody had a really good time and learned a lot. Today, we continued with our multi-skills lessons that look specifically at Agility, Balance and Coordination. Today, we focused specifically on coordination. We were also joined by 4 children from Greenacre. I must say, they were SUPERSTARS. They all behaved really well and showed fantastic coordination skills. They did not shy away from the challenge and I am very proud of them for this. Well done! I can't wait for our next lesson!
