Welcome to Year 2! 2025/26

We’ve had a lovely first week, getting to know the children and establishing our rules and routines.
Please note the following:

• PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure that your child brings a pair of trainers for the lesson on Monday as it will be outdoors when possible.
• Homework is given on a Wednesday to be returned the following Monday.
• Children will be given the opportunity to borrow a library book on a Friday afternoon during a dedicated library session. Please return this book for the following Friday in order to change it.
• Children are also given a home reader, linked to the Read Write Inc scheme, which will be changed weekly.
• Mrs Ellis’s teaching days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
• Mrs Hebron’s teaching days are Wednesday, Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.
• Mrs Senior will be our teaching assistant all week.​
