Number day!

Today we celebrated NSPCC number day! We began our day by learning about NSPCC number day and why we were celebrating it, we all felt very proud to have given money to help out other children. 
We then spent our morning learning more about money, we learnt where money comes from and how it takes hard work to earn. We all chose a job that we would like to do and learnt how much money we would earn in our pretend job! 
After this we learnt about choosing what to spend our money on between things we needed and things we wanted. We first spent money on the things we needed then saw how much we had left for a treat! 

We spent the afternoon taking part in lots of fun activities, we could choose: 
- Number collage 
- number fan design
-Number blocks games
-Number blocks colouring 
- Addition and subtraction hide and seek 
We had a fabulous afternoon which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!
