We have had such a busy, fun filled half term and the children have worked so incredibly hard. In KS1, we wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Here are our fantastic children singing for you... Writing
This week we have be reading the story How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We loved the story and enjoyed spotting parts that were different to the movie. In our writing this week we are all pretending to be Cindy and are building up to writing a letter to the Grinch to tell him how we feel about what he's done. Maths This week we have been learning about shape. We have used pattern blocks to make different pictures. We also used blocks to make a radiating pattern, they turned out beautiful and were worth all the hard work. Wider curriculum Our clay Christmas decorations are finally set and now its time to paint them...and add a bit of glitter of course, look how amazing they turned out! This morning we were all very surprised and excited to find that an Elf had visited our classroom! His name is Pip and he's here to watch that we're all on our best behavior at school from now until Christmas....I hope he doesn't make a mess in our classroom!
