Today in art we have practiced a different kind of printing. We have used chalk, wax crayon and pencils to make rubbings. 
Lots of us found this skill tricky to learn, it was hard to remember to be gentle and to hold the pencil at an angle. We all managed to experiment and make rubbings with each medium and they turned out fantastic! 

In science we have been learning about Autumn and the changes we might see. We know we will feel the weather start to get cooler, we will see the trees start to change colour and we will start to get more rain and windy weather! 

In art we have been learning about printing. We are working towards making an autumn themed picture. Today we have been printing using paint and different objects. 
We carefully dipped each object in the paint, making sure to scrape of any excess before gently pushing it on to our paper. We were really impressed with the different patterns we were able to create!
