Beanstalks!

We have been reading Jack and the Beanstalk, which of course got us thinking about gardening and how things grow. 
We first collected all the things we would need to do our own gardening to grow our own beanstalks. We go a spade, soil, a plant pot, some water, and a bean. 
We all helped to plant a class beanstalk together on the carpet before each having a turn at planting our own. 
We can't wait for them to grow!
