What a hot one in school we had last week! Here are a few photos of children keeping cool. We didn't bake last week because of the hot weather so the children made their own Eton Mess instead!!!! It was super refreshing and delicious.

Last week, the Bear Cubs read Jack and the Beanstalk and learnt about planting from other story books. All of the children have planted their own bean and this week we are seeing some shoots appear!
​The Big Bears read a story called The Incredible Hotel. This inspired some of them to build hotels in the construction area - future architects and engineers!
​And it was the start of the world cup so some children made a football pitch.

We have had a lady from skipping school in today. What fun we had! We were learning how to respond to instructions and judge the space around the rope so we ran under the 'rainbow.' As we got good, we did it with a partner and then in fours.
